Hyundai’s Blue 2 uses Hydrogen Fuel Cells for its fuel

The Blue 2 stands next-in-line as far as Hydrogen –powered fuel cars go and even though it’s a concept car, it reflects the mind of its makers Hyundai to good effect. The Blue 2 is actually an acronym for “Blue Squared”—quite symbolic of the merging of Hyundai’s eco-brand “Blue Drive” with “H2,” or hydrogen– and stands up to the challenge thrown by other alternative-fuel vehicles rolled out by Toyota and Honda.

Fast and Furious: The Saline Bird Concept bike is here!

This is something that will keep the speed demons in for all their love for biking at breakneck speeds. Five students– Charles-Edouard Berche, Ugo Spagnolo, Adrien Fuinel, Frederic Dobbelstein and Jean-Philippe Paries—of the International School of Design in Valenciennes, France have come up with a superfast racing bike, the Saline Bird Concept, to show up for their final project assignment for 2010-11.

All-electric Vespa scooter may hit scenes by mid-2011

Piaggio, the renowned Italian scooter-maker is setting its sails up to come out with an all-electric Vespa scooter which will reportedly be out by mid-2011. It is believed that the germ of this Vespa model lies in the lukewarm success garnered by the MP3 Hybrid—Piaggio’s 3-wheeled hybrid scooter—in Europe.
